As our Dietitian, you'll serve as the clinical nutrition expert for our facility by:
Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments and developing individualized care plans.
Monitoring residents for weight changes, wounds, dialysis, tube feeding, diabetes, and other nutritional risks.
Collaborating with physicians, nursing, therapy, social services, speech therapy, and dietary staff to achieve the best resident outcomes.
Ensuring physician diet orders are implemented accurately and timely.
Developing and evaluating nutrition interventions while monitoring resident progress.
Participating in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
Supporting survey readiness and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company standards.
Assisting with menu reviews, therapeutic diets, food preferences, and dining enhancements.
Educating residents, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics.
Required
Current Florida Licensed Dietitian (LD) in good standing
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred (or eligible if applicable)
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and care planning skills
Preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care
Knowledge of CMS, AHCA, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
