Expertise in differentiating instruction for a variety of learners and the ability to engage multiple student learning styles are essential, along with a demonstrated commitment to high-impact teaching. The ideal candidate embraces active learning and student engagement, designing lessons that encourage mathematical discourse, critical thinking, collaboration, and authentic problem-solving.
The ideal candidate must be highly collaborative, comfortable sharing instructional ideas and instructional space with colleagues, and willing to work cross-departmentally to support our Advisory program and other student belonging initiatives. A commitment to continuous professional growth, participation in collaborative team structures, and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community are highly valued.
Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school climate are required. Experience in a high school setting is preferred, along with proficiency in using instructional technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Connecticut certification in Mathematics, Grades 4–12 (Endorsement #029), or eligibility for Connecticut certification.

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional practices in secondary mathematics.
