Job Summary
We are looking for a caring and reliable Child Care Provider to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis. This role is all about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Whether you’re experienced in early childhood education or passionate about working with children, you will play a key role in supporting their growth, development, and happiness. The ideal candidate will be energetic, patient, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact on children’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, and rest periods.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, including toys, supplies, and play areas.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children’s progress, needs, and any concerns.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and basic health needs in accordance with safety standards.
- Support children’s emotional well-being by providing comfort, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.
- Follow all licensing regulations and best practices related to childcare and early childhood education.
Skills
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques.
- First aid certification and CPR training to handle emergencies confidently.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and effective behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education needs or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
