Job Summary
Join our team as a Store Cleaner and help keep Scoop N Scootery looking its best. This role is responsible for ensuring our store is spotless before we open each day. You'll work independently to deep clean the store, maintain our high cleanliness standards, and create an environment our team is proud to work in and our customers love to visit.
Duties
- Deep clean floors using commercial cleaning equipment
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Wash walls, doors, windows, and other high-touch surfaces
- Power wash the sidewalk and storefront (equipment provided)
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean behind and underneath equipment as needed
- Keep cleaning supplies organized and notify management when supplies are running low
- Report maintenance or repair issues noticed during cleaning
- Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable using commercial cleaning products and equipment (training provided)
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required
