Knowledge and repair of VOLVO VED12,CUMMINS ISX ,DETROIT DIESEL ENGINE
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, hydraulics, air brake systems, and electrical systems for heavy trucks and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment checks, shocks & struts replacement, and HVAC system servicing
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accuratel
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and roadworthiness for truck drivers
- Assist with assembly of new equipment or parts as needed and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy truck repair and diesel mechanics
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, and electrical system troubleshooting
- Familiarity with schematics reading for complex machinery repairs across industrial equipment and heavy trucks
- Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge of transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, shocks & struts
