Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items like drinks, desserts, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales volume
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including spirits and cocktails, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas; assist with bussing and food handling as needed
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation is desirable
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and guest-focused attitude
