We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented Leasing Agent to join our property management team in Albuquerque, NM. Under the guidance of the Property Manager, you will help oversee approximately 200 multifamily apartment units. As a Leasing Agent, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and play a key role in driving occupancy and ensuring a positive leasing experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Tours
- Greet and welcome prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct property tours and highlight features, amenities, and community benefits
- Respond promptly to inquiries about availability, pricing, lease terms, and policies
- Assist applicants in completing rental applications and collecting application fees
- Process and verify applicant information (rental history, credit, background checks)
- Communicate leasing terms and guide prospects through lease signing
Marketing & Outreach
- Assist with executing marketing campaigns to attract prospective residents
- Follow up on all guest cards via text, email, and phone
- Maintain and update property listings on websites and social media platforms
- Collaborate with local businesses and attend outreach events to promote vacancies
- Track and report on leasing activity and marketing efforts
Resident Relations & Administration
- Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and key exchanges
- Help organize resident events to build community engagement
- Support monthly rent collection efforts
- Address tenant concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate leasing files and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
- Previous leasing or property management experience preferred
- Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio preferred)
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexible availability, including some evenings or weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
