Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, ensuring customers are well-informed
- Prepare detailed auto estimates using service writing software, including labor, parts, and additional recommendations
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission services to maximize customer satisfaction and shop productivity
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain precise records of all service orders and payment
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, oil changes, alignments, shocks & struts, tire service, diesel engine repair, auto body repair, and automotive diagnostics
- Experience working with service technicians to facilitate efficient repairs and accurate auto estimating
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Familiarity with automotive repair software and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of automobile sales processes is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
