Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
- Provide detailed information about retail products, financial services, and loan options to help customers make informed decisions
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Process loan applications and perform basic math calculations to verify figures and eligibility
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retail sales techniques, banking products, and financial software systems
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment, merchandising, and retail math calculations to optimize sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and 10 key typing proficiency
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial products clearly
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately under pressure
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is advantageous
- A proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse customers
