American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant for a travel contract requiring endoscopic vein harvesting proficiency and an active LA or compact RN license.

CVOR setting within a hospital environment

Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
-
Call required approximately every third day Monday–Thursday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM; weekend call rotates every third week (Friday 3:30 PM–7:00 AM; Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 AM)

Every other weekend required (subject to change to every third or fourth weekend)

13-week contract

Active LA or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Surgical First Assistant certification required: ABSA, NBSTSA, or NCCT

Minimum 1 year of CVOR/surgical first assistant experience required

Endoscopic vein harvesting experience is a hard requirement

Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Any candidate who has been a permanent employee at an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
