About PEARLS Foundation:
PEARLS Foundation is a charitable organization within the meaning of Section 50I(c)(3) providing assistance to PEARLS Court, EAGLES Court, and the participants and graduates of these Restorative Foster Care Court Programs. Our heart is to make a positive difference for teens in foster care. Created in 2017, PEARLS Foundation was created by a group of amazing volunteers who wanted to assist PEARLS Court and its programming. Since then, the Foundation has expanded its focus to include teen boys in the EAGLES Court restorative court and the alumni of both Court programs.
Position Summary:
The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the foundation and is responsible for providing strategic leadership, internal operational oversight, and external representation. Working in partnership with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director advances the organization’s mission, ensures financial sustainability, and oversees programs, staff, and community relationships.
Compensation:
Initial compensation for this role will be paid as a 1099 contractor/consultant at a rate of $45 per hour budgeted at about 5-20 hours a month. Thereafter, compensation will be tied to fundraising success, with specific metrics and targets to be determined in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities:
Organizational Leadership & Strategy
- Partner with the Board of Directors to develop and implement the foundation’s strategic plan
- Translate mission and vision into actionable goals and measurable outcomes
- In partnership with the courts, provide regular reports to the Board
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements
Program Oversight & Impact
- Creation, oversight, and development of Board agenda and board events
- Management of social media content and website contention development and creation
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and initiatives
- Ensure programs align with the foundation’s mission and demonstrate measurable impact
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement across all program areas
Financial Management & Fundraising
- Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the Board and finance staff
- Ensure sound financial controls and long-term financial sustainability
- Lead fundraising efforts, including major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, and events
- Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, funders, and philanthropic partners
Staff & Operations Management
- Foundation oversight of court programming
- Support court staff to foster a positive culture between foundation and programming
External Relations & Advocacy
- Build strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, and stakeholders

Requirements
· Minimum 5 hours each month up to 20 hours
· Invoices will be provided by the 15th of each month
Qualifications:
- Non-profit leadership and program development experience.
- Strong commitment to PIFF’s mission and values.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work well with individuals and groups from culturally and socio-economically diverse backgrounds.
- High level of initiative, resourcefulness, creativity and organizational
leadership.
- Effective self-direction and time management skills, with motivation and
ability to work well independently.
- Working knowledge of creating strategic and project plans, developing action items and managing multiple timelines.
- Strong problem-solving, information integration and analysis skills.
- Proven financial acumen, including a working knowledge of QuickBooks and
ability to interpret financial statements and reports, in collaboration with
- Board Treasurer, bookkeeper and external CPA.
- Savvy administrative and technical skills - enough to comfortably and independently navigate and/or learn Microsoft Office suite, Google suite, web management (WordPress), social media platforms, donation software, relational databases and CRM systems, graphic design, photo/video editing, and more.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Non-profit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration).
- Proven track record of successful fundraising, including major gift solicitation, grant writing, and event planning.
- Established relationships with local funders and community leaders.
