Job Summary
We are seeking for a Injection Molding Operator. A Mold Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and consistent product quality. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate plastics injection molding machines, ensuring proper calibration and alignment for optimal performance.
- Monitor machine operation throughout the production cycle, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on injection molding equipment
- Inspect finished parts for defects or inconsistencies, documenting findings and initiating corrective actions when needed.
- Support fabrication processes such as plastics extrusion, blow molding, and assembly tasks to meet production goals efficiently.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, quality checks, and machine maintenance logs in compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating injection molding machines within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Excellent hand tool skills for assembly and minor repairs on equipment or components.
- Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours daily
- Ability to work repetitive/non repetitive with hand movement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
