American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Psychiatric Geriatric Unit position requiring 2+ years of experience and CPI certification, working night shifts in Asheville, NC.

Position is located in the Psychiatric Geriatric Unit of a hospital setting

Shift hours are 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (night shift)

13-week contract duration

Active NC or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

CPI certification required; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI based on facility requirement

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
