Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools effectively and safely
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Use appropriate cleaning detergents and chemicals while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and chemical use
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, windows, fixtures, and appliances in line with client specifications
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs or concerns
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required and support team members in outdoor or specialized cleaning projects
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial responsibilities
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures including sanitation practices, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and surface disinfection
- Hands-on experience using various cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of cleaning detergents, chemicals, and their appropriate applications
- Experience in laundry services and outdoor work is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during manual handling tasks
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations and feedback
- Prior housekeeping management or supervisory experience is advantageous but not required
