Job Title: Server for Neighborhood Breakfast and Lunch Diner

About Us: Edgebrook Coffee Shop & Diner is a friendly neighborhood breakfast and lunch diner on the northwest side of Chicago, known for great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and loyal regular customers. We are looking for a dependable, energetic server to join our team part-time on weekends and occasional weekdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card payments
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area and work stations
- Refill beverages, clear tables, and assist teammates as needed
- Provide a positive dining experience for both regulars and new guests
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability is required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay: From $12.62 per hour
