This role requires an individual who demonstrates a high level of integrity, attention to detail, excellent verbal and writing skills, as well as the physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., crawl through crawlspaces, and work outside year-round. Roles
- Perform visual inspection of residential properties
- Produce written reports for clients (using our proprietary software)
- Provide guidance/consultation to home buyers and real estate agents
- Occasionally attend events for the purpose of promoting At Ease Inspections
Important Requirements
Candidates will be required to go through our intensive training program to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as a Home Inspector. The training program typically takes 3-4 months to complete. Training pay during this time is typically $900 per week.
We have a rigorous screening process intended to ensure you are a good fit for the position and that our team is a good fit for you.
The applicant will be required to complete the following exams prior to being released into the field for solo inspections:
- American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) National Home Inspector Exam before being released into the field.
- FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification Exam
The following BestWorks assessment is required to complete before your application can be considered for interviewing: This exercise will require 25 minutes without any interruptions. Please make sure that you are not disturbed by phones, children, pets or other things. There is a timed section that cannot be restarted once you have begun. It is best done on a laptop or desktop computer. Do not overthink your answers. Your first response is usually the best one.
