Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines. The CNC Operator will be responsible for efficiently and accurately operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining production schedules. This is a crucial role that requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines, such as mills or lathes, according to job specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
- Load and unload workpieces, tools, and/or fixtures onto CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as lubrication, tool replacement, and cleaning.
- Conduct regular inspections and measurements of machined parts using precision instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members, such as programmers, operators, and quality control personnel, to optimize processes and meet production goals.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including inspection reports and machine maintenance records.
- Continuously strive for process improvement, suggesting and implementing ideas to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator, working with mills, lathes, or similar CNC machines.
- Experience with precision measurement instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to consistently produce high-quality parts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for operating CNC machines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
