Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Pediatric Dental Office Manager to lead our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is experienced, performance-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced pediatric environment. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, elevating patient experience, driving team performance, and ensuring office goals and KPIs are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the pediatric dental office, ensuring efficiency and a positive patient experience
- Provide strong leadership to clinical and front office teams
- Set, track, and achieve performance metrics and KPIs (collections, case acceptance, scheduling, production, etc.)
- Actively monitor and improve operational workflows and team accountability
- Collaborate with regional and HR leadership to ensure alignment with company standards and growth initiatives
- Lead team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one development conversations
- Address patient concerns and lead resolution efforts with professionalism
- Manage staffing schedules, inventory, payroll approvals, and time-off requests
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
Qualifications:
- Proven success in achieving operational goals and driving team KPIs
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and develop others
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix, etc.)
- High emotional intelligence and a growth mindset
- Passion for delivering exceptional experiences to children and families
