Heavy Equipment Operator
Rob Middleton Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. We are looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals with experience operating a variety of heavy equipment on site development, road construction, utility, land clearing, and other civil construction projects throughout Mobile County and Baldwin County.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including:
- Bulldozers
- Excavators/Trackhoes
- Motor Graders
- Skid Steers
- Rollers and other construction equipment as needed
- Perform grading, excavation, site preparation, utility installation, and earthwork operations
- Read and work from grade stakes, plans, and project specifications
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures
- Assist with general labor duties and support crew members when not operating equipment
- Maintain production goals while ensuring quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Experience operating multiple types of construction equipment
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and grade accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GPS machine control systems, specifically Topcon equipment
- CDL license is a plus, but not required
- Experience in site development, utility work, road construction, and land clearing projects

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
