Job Title: Group Home Assistant Manager

We are now hiring a Group Home Manager — to oversee daily operations and drive excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in all aspects of day-to-day home operations.
- Ensure all staff clock in and out correctly and follow shift expectations.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work culture.
- Be readily available by phone at all times for staff support or emergencies.
Scheduling & Staff Coordination
- Create and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure full and compliant shift coverage.
- Fill in shifts as needed and coordinate adjustments due to call-offs.
- Maintain staffing compliance per DDD requirements.
Auditing & Compliance
- Conduct daily audits using Therap, including:
- Member files
- Staff files
- Medical appointment documentation
- Shift notes and behavior logs
- Ensure all staff credentials, training records, and certifications are current and stored properly.
Member Support & Appointments
- Coordinate and manage all appointments for members (medical, dental, behavioral, therapy).
- Ensure timely documentation of all appointments and follow-up care.
- Communicate effectively with guardians, support coordinators, and providers.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in Therap.
- Submit required logs: daily progress notes, incident reports, medication records, etc.
- Prepare the home and files for internal and external audits at all times.
Household Management
- Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the home daily.
- Conduct walk-throughs to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Report and coordinate maintenance requests promptly.
Transportation
- Drive members to appointments or outings as needed.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Availability & Flexibility
- Must be available on-call, including some weekends and off-hours.
- Able to work flexible hours to meet the home’s needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a DDD group home or behavioral health setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Therap and Arizona DDD regulations.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Article 9, Prevention & Support, and other required DDD training's (or ability to obtain quickly).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation ability.
- The ability to work with children / young adults
