Fence Yard Laborer (Forklift Certified)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fence Yard Laborer to assist with the organization, loading, unloading, and maintenance of temporary fencing materials. The ideal candidate must be forklift certified and capable of working in a fast-paced outdoor yard environment.
Key Responsibilities

Load and unload temporary fence panels, stands, gates, and related materials using forklifts and manual handling techniques

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move inventory around the yard

Organize and maintain yard inventory to ensure accurate storage and easy access

Clean, inspect, and repair fencing materials as needed

Prepare materials for delivery and customer pickup

Assist drivers and installation crews with staging and loading jobs

Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements

Valid forklift certification (required)

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, or fencing environment preferred

Ability to lift heavy materials (50–75 lbs regularly)

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Strong attention to safety and detail

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy fencing materials

Standing and walking for extended periods
