Overview:
IT Technician
Location – Lenexa, KS
The IT Technician will support and assist Associate Engineer with day-to-day first level technical support for Fullfillment Operation Center and Server Room/Data Center.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for end user and Server Room/Data Center issues of level one complexity.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in a timely manner ensuring minimal disruption to the internal and external customer.
- Follow company IT operational standards for reporting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documenting all assigned issues.
- Communicate with IT teams, vendors and end users to resolve local issues of level one complexity.
- Assist in escalation to home office and/or offshore IT teams and/or vendors to resolve local incidents.
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of IT equipment.
- Apply a basic/working knowledge of fullfillment environment, including critical applications, sorters, scanners and supporting infrastructure to resolve issues.
- Participate in assigned business and/or server room/data center projects including installations, system upgrades, migrations and decommissions.
- Perform hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance of all desktops, laptops, and servers as directed.
- Perform Bare-Metal desktop/laptop builds and software installations as directed.
- Interact with business customers and react accordingly to changing environments and business needs.
- Be able to work independently to staff shifts when needed

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
- Technical Institute/ Associate Degree or 3-5 years of formal training/ work experience
- General working knowledge of PC/LAN Hardware, operating systems, network and Data Centers
- Demonstrate a working aptitude for logical thinking and problem solving of level one complexity
- Demonstrate good communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team based, customer service oriented environment.
- Ability to lead local projects of level one complexity with supervision.
- Ability to engage in higher complexity issues beyond level one as needed.

Pay Range: USD $22.31 - USD $27.89 /Hr.
