Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Construction Laborer to join our construction company. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your dependability, attention to safety, and willingness to do various assigned tasks will contribute significantly to the successful completion of diverse projects. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to develop your skills in multiple aspects of construction.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Interpret plans, and technical drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution.
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately
- General carpentry and construction tasks
- Install rebar, formwork, and framing components according to construction plans.
- Support masonry work, stucco application, caulking, and tile laying as needed for renovation projects.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure environment for yourself and colleagues.
Experience:
- Previous experience working on construction projects or in related trades such as carpentry, wood-framing, masonry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawings is advantageous.
- Understanding of construction site safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools is essential for success in this role.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills like metal stud framing, restoration work, flooring installation, or drywall finishing will help you grow within our team.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
