PHOS Events is a luxury event lighting and installation company serving the greater Twin Cities area. We design and install custom lighting environments for weddings and corporate events.At PHOS, we shape atmosphere.
We are looking for dependable, hands-on team members who enjoy building, installing, and working in fast-paced event environments.
This role is for part-time event-based work.
What You’ll Do: You will assist with and/or lead:
- Preparing and loading lighting equipment
- Driving company vehicles to event sites
- Installing chandeliers, string lighting, custom lighting structures
- Hanging aluminum frames and décor structures
- Working safely with ladders and lifts (up to 25+ ft)
- Troubleshooting basic lighting and power connections
- Ensuring client satisfaction before leaving site
- Cleaning, repairing, and organizing inventory in the warehouse
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
- Comfortable on ladders (6–20 ft) and power lifts
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Availability for weekdays, weekends, and evening events
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Event production, AV, staging, weddings, or tent experience
- Familiarity with rigging hardware (C-clamps, safe hanging methods)
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience mounting to wood, steel, brick, or drywall surfaces
Schedule - Event-based schedule including:
- Weekdays and weekends
- Days and evenings
- Minimum 4-hour pay for all shifts
Pay & Benefits
Part-Time
- $25–$35/hour depending on experience
- Flexible scheduling
