We pride ourselves on clean stores, fully stocked shelves, and a team that genuinely cares about our customers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Area Manager to oversee our multi-unit convenience store operations and drive our team toward success.
The Role
We aren't looking for someone who just sits behind a desk. We need a high-energy leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves developing talent, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
As an Area Manager, you will oversee the operations, financial performance, and staffing of multiple convenience store and food service locations. You will be the bridge between upper management and store-level teams, ensuring that our high standards for customer service, safety, and operational excellence are met daily.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Unit Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of multiple store locations to maximize sales, control labor costs, and ensure strict compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting: Take ownership of staffing for your region. You will be responsible for posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews to build a pipeline of rockstar team members and Store Managers.
Training & Development: Lead the onboarding and continuous training of Store Managers and shift staff. You will coach your team on customer service excellence, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
Operational Flexibility: Lead by example. You must be flexible and willing to step in and cover store call-offs or staffing gaps when necessary.
Financial & Inventory Accountability: Monitor P&L statements, manage inventory shrinkage, and implement strategies to increase profitability across all assigned locations.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing multiple convenience store locations (Multi-Unit/District/Area Manager level required).
The "Can-Do" Attitude: A strong work ethic and the willingness to jump behind the register, stock shelves, or manage a shift if a store is short-staffed.
Recruiting Savvy: Comfortable utilizing job boards and social media to recruit, interview, and select top-tier talent.
Communication Skills: Exceptional leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills to motivate a diverse team.
Availability: Must have open flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations and emergencies.
Valid Driver’s License: Reliable transportation is required, as this role involves frequent travel between store locations.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
