The Warehouse Manager at AMS Events is responsible for leading and optimizing all warehouse operations that support live event productions. This role is focused on people management, operational efficiency, organization, and process execution to ensure equipment is accurately tracked, properly stored, and prepared on schedule.
This position is 100% warehouse-based and does not include on-site or field support. While familiarity with live production or AV equipment is helpful, success in this role is driven primarily by the ability to manage teams, improve workflows, enforce standards, and protect company assets.
The Warehouse Manager works closely with Operations and Project Management to ensure the warehouse functions as a reliable, efficient engine for the business.

Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse staff

Assign daily tasks and set clear priorities and expectations

Train team members on warehouse processes, organization standards, and safety procedures

Hold team members accountable to performance, accuracy, and efficiency standards

Foster a culture of ownership, consistency, and professionalism

Oversee all warehouse workflows including prep, check-in, check-out, and storage

Maintain a highly organized warehouse layout and enforce organization standards

Continuously evaluate and improve processes to reduce errors, delays, and inefficiencies

Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and operationally ready at all times

Maintain accurate inventory tracking and documentation

Ensure equipment is properly labeled, stored, and accounted for

Identify damaged, missing, or aging equipment and report issues to Operations

Support inventory audits, cycle counts, and asset tracking initiatives

Coordinate inbound and outbound warehouse activity, including deliveries, returns, and cross-rentals

Work with Project Managers to ensure gear is prepped according to approved scopes and timelines

Flag issues early when inventory, timing, or capacity could impact upcoming shows

Execute and enforce warehouse SOPs

Utilize inventory and operations systems to track equipment and workflows

Provide reporting on inventory accuracy, warehouse performance, and team productivity

Recommend improvements to systems, layout, and operational processes

Proven experience managing people in a warehouse, operations, or logistics environment

Strong organizational, process-driven, and efficiency-focused mindset

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and enforce standards

Experience with inventory tracking or warehouse management systems

Live production or AV equipment knowledge is a plus, but not required
