Forsyth Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, motivated veterinary assistant to join our growing team. As a family-owned veterinary practice serving the community since 1986, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care while maintaining a supportive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities
● Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
● Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats during exams and procedures
● Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
● Feed, walk, and care for hospitalized and boarding patients
● Clean and sterilize equipment and maintain a clean hospital environment
● Assist with laboratory sample collection and processing
● Prepare medications and treatment supplies
● Communicate professionally with clients and team members
● Support surgical and dental procedures as needed
Qualifications
● Previous veterinary experience preferred but not required
● Passion for animal care and client service
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and focus on tasks with multiple distractions present.
● Strong communication and teamwork skills
● Ability to lift and restrain animals safely
● Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
