We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Planning / Recreation Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in being the primary public interface for the Planning Department and the Recreation Department. This position performs administrative and customer service duties.

Some Responsibilities Include:
General -
- Answer phone calls and in-person inquiries providing information or directing them to appropriate staff.
- Process payments for the Planning and Recreation Departments.
- Document preparation, meeting coordination and office supply management.
Planning -
- Provide guidance on processes and required documents to planning-related applicants.
- Review land use and development applications for completeness, notifying applicants of missing items.
- Manage project files throughout the application process.
- Perform notary duties.
- Prepare and coordinate public notices.
- Create information flyers and handouts.
Recreation -
- Manage the reservation system for Town facility rentals (the Community Center, Town parks and ballfields).
- Maintain the Town facility calendars and coordinate the scheduling of meetings and / or Recreation programming space.
- Manage the BV Rec Sponsorship program.

Pay: $22.12 - $24.00 per hour
