Position: Middle School Science/Social Studies TeacherThe Wakefield School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Middle School Science/Social Studies Teacher to inspire and engage students in grades 78. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning through innovative instruction in both scientific inquiry and social studies content. This educator will create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth academically, socially, and emotionally.EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Education (K-8), Middle School Science, Middle School Social Studies, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Valid state teaching certification in middle school education (science and/or social studies endorsement preferred).
Strong knowledge of middle school curriculum standards and best practices. Excellent classroom management and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
