HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair equipment including boom lifts, telehandler forklifts, skid steers, excavators, scissor lifts, and other heavy construction equipment.
- Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
- Primarily work in the shop; occasionally travel to customer jobsites for service calls.
- Communicate job progress to supervisors and customers as needed.
- Complete service reports, order parts, and maintain clear customer records.
Requirements:
- Relevant diesel equipment repair experience, preferably with some field service.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, components, electrical, and fuel systems.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to professional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Clean driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
Physical Requirements:
- Push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
- Lift bulky objects.
Compensation:
- Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Hours: 40–50 per week (Monday–Friday, day shift, occasional overtime).
