Keene Garlic is a family-owned manufacturer of premium garlic products and seasonings. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our production team during our busy fall season. This role offers hands-on experience in machine operation, quality control, and warehouse operations. Successful team members take pride in producing high-quality products, working efficiently, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, punctual, and committed to completing the full seasonal assignment.
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Typical operating hours: 8 am-4:30 pm
- Available workdays: Monday through Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays
- Full-season availability (August 10 through Mid-Late October) required for season-end bonus eligibility
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
- Monitor machine performance and notify supervisors of issues or maintenance needs
- Verify product labels, weights, and packaging accuracy to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
- Weigh products to meet production and packaging specifications.
- Clean, sort, and inspect garlic products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure finished products meet company quality and packaging standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Move products and supplies using carts, dollies, and other warehouse equipment. (training provided)
- Assist coworkers and supervisors to meet daily production and fulfillment goals.
- Perform other production, warehouse, and fulfillment duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and remain on your feet throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable operating machinery and following established procedures
- Basic computer or tablet skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Availability to work the full seasonal period (August 10 through Mid-Late October) to qualify for season-end bonus
