Buyers Products company, a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is searching for a Welder to complement the skills and talents of our Welding Department.
Primary Job Duties:

Demonstrate skills using MIG or TIG welding processes

Analyze all welds to ensure they are free of porosity and discontinuities
-
Report drawing errors
-
Ensure that the supply of consumables, i.e. gas, welding wire etc. does not run out which could affect the job
-
Work with supervisor to ensure stock levels are maintained
-
Maintain equipment and machinery
-
Ability to set up manual weld machine independently
Skills/ Experience:
-
1-3 years of Steel/Aluminum experience is preferred

Understand and apply welding techniques and ability to operate welding equipment with skill
-
Wire-feed welding
-
Must be a critical thinker with a demonstrated sound work ethic

Demonstrate dexterity and attention to detail
Education Background:
-
GED or High School diploma required, certificate from a technical or vocational school is preferred.

Welding Certification
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
-
Standing, Walking and Sitting for extended period of times
-
Mobility and dexterity to move around operating machinery and powered industrial equipment
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-
Ability to operate power tools and vibrating equipment
-
Ability to work on site to physically support manufacturing requirements
