Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry in accordance with established procedures
Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines
Inspect and clean patient linens and equipment to ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation
Maintain accurate records of laundry production and inventory
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and equipment
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
Requirements:
1 year of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
