Job Title: Middle School Karate Instructor (Part-Time) - Recreational Services
Job Overview:
Our dynamic and inclusive small business, is looking for a Karate Instructor who specializes in working with school aged children. The Karate Instructor will be responsible for providing a safe, fun environment where students can learn Karate curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Safety and Classroom Management
- Collaborate with the after-school program staff as needed.
- Collaborate to identify and discuss potential service areas.
- Provide timely feedback to management at the end of each session.
Qualifications:
- MUST enjoy working with school aged children
- MUST enjoy having fun and providing fun sessions
- Recreational Therapist or experience (preferred)
- 5+ years teaching Karate (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within a remote or flexible work environment.
Working Conditions:
- 1 day per week, 3-4 hours per week.
- Occasional in-person or remote team meetings as needed.
- Compensation: $21- $30 per hour.
