Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team as a part-time employee or PRN. Must be proficient in orthopedic rehabilitation and chronic pain/dysfunction management with 1-2 years experience in outpatient PT. BPT prioritizes hands-on and 1-on-1 care so your treatment time will need to be heavy in patient education and manual therapy.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients across various clinical settings.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and other modalities to promote healing and mobility.
- Conduct clinical assessments and accurately document patient progress, treatment responses, and any changes in condition in accordance with clinical documentation standards.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Maintain comprehensive medical documentation including treatment notes, discharge planning details, and progress reports using electronic health records (EHR) management systems.
- Support discharge planning by providing detailed reports on patient progress and recommendations for ongoing care or referrals.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and physiotherapy best practices while delivering compassionate patient care.

- Strong knowledge of arthrokinematics, proprioception, kinesthesia, and multi-system physiology and anatomy.

Pay: $27.86 - $33.55 per hour

Experience:
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation: 1 year (Preferred)
- Chronic Pain/Dysfunction Rehabilitation: 1 year (Preferred)
