About Recovery Concierge
Recovery Concierge is Chicago's premier luxury post-operative recovery service dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and personalized care for cosmetic surgery patients. We specialize in supporting clients recovering from procedures such as tummy tucks, liposuction, BBLs, breast augmentation, breast reduction, mommy makeovers, and other elective surgeries.
Our clients expect exceptional care in a luxury environment. We are seeking experienced, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants who are passionate about patient care and understand the importance of professionalism, discretion, and hospitality.
Position Overview
Recovery Concierge is seeking dependable and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one non-medical and supportive post-operative care in luxury recovery homes, hotels, and private residences throughout the Chicago area.
This position is ideal for CNAs with experience in post-surgical recovery, home health, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or hospital settings. Candidates with home care experience are strongly preferred.
Evening, overnight, weekend, holiday, and on-call availability is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
The CNA will assist clients recovering from cosmetic surgery by providing exceptional bedside care while maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Ambulation and mobility assistance
- Safe transfers and positioning
- Assistance with toileting and personal hygiene
- Dressing assistance
- Meal preparation and hydration reminders
- Monitor and document vital signs
- Observe and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising nurse
- Assist with medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized)
- Empty and document surgical drain output as directed by the supervising nurse and within applicable regulations
- Apply compression garments as directed
- Reinforce post-operative instructions provided by the healthcare team
- Assist clients during transportation to and from follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate caregiver documentation
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client's recovery
- Change linens and maintain a clean recovery suite
- Laundry assistance for the client
- Maintain client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
- Provide compassionate emotional support during recovery
- Communicate professionally with physicians, nurses, massage therapists, transportation providers, and Recovery Concierge staff

Qualifications
- Current Illinois CNA Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience (2+ years preferred)
- Home Health experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients safely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain strict HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

- Identifying signs of infection
- Recognizing signs of DVT, pulmonary embolism, dehydration, excessive bleeding, or other post-operative complications and immediately notifying the supervising nurse

- Documentation using electronic or mobile charting systems
