Our client a commercial construction/roofing company based in Springfield, MA is looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of construction management software, project scheduling tools, and industry standards. They will play a pivotal role in driving project success while maintaining safety, compliance, and client satisfaction. Role will require time to be split in-office and out in the field (50/50 split time)
Responsibilities Include:
- Financial & Contract Management: Oversee full-lifecycle project budgets, forecasting, and cost controls. Review contracts, manage change orders, and protect project profit margins.
- Operations & Scheduling: Develop resource plans and project schedules. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to hit tight deadlines.
- Field Leadership: Support and guide superintendents, engineers, and field personnel. Ensure strict compliance with specifications, safety programs, and regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain accurate documentation, provide status updates to senior leadership, and proactively manage client relationships.
Requirements Needed:
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Five plus years of construction project management experience.
- Key Skills: Proven track record with tight deadlines, managing multiple shifting priorities, and a strong attention to detail.
