Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong foundation in speech-language pathology assessment and intervention within a school environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs
- Coordinate and conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and participate in team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service professionals to support students’ communication development
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
- Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages student progress and engagement
