Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) Modification Project Technician to join the P-8 team in Jacksonville, FL.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and executing the schedule of flight control maintenance and overhaul visit plan and responds to customer need

Define and assist in managing resource requirements, tooling, parts inventory and parts availability with material management and supply chain to support flight control customer and project need- s
Assist in direct accountability for P8 safety, quality, cost, & schedule, as well as ensuring compliance to our contractual requirements with both our customers and business partner- s
Establishes planning and develops strategic plans, conducts risk assessments and analyzes new scheduling techniques for current programs and new business proposal- s
Develops and directs maintenance, repairs and overhaul (MRO) operation schedules and time-phased maintenance/repair/modification sequence plan

Performs flow-time calculations, validates the schedule data with supervisors and produces schedule status data for managemen- t
Understand critical path jobs and which milestones they suppor- t
Create and load daily schedule with proper sequencing of work instructions with durations and establish timeline(s) for the execution of wor- k
Update schedules for unplanned wor- k
Develop appropriate staffing forecasts to support program commitment- s
Work with maintenance planning team to optimize workflow and sequence of work package- s
Work with operations managers to mitigate schedule conflict- s
Develop a recovery plan as necessary when off schedul- e
Participate in daily Tier Meeting- s
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience working with scheduling tools or database

3+ years of experience with Production Control/Materials Managemen- t
3+ years of experience with P8 aircraf- t
3+ years of experience working with or within one of the following maintenance, repair and overhaul. (MRO) operations: Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Production Contro- l
Ability to work 2nd shif- t
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or highe

Experience establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPI- )
Understanding of Lean, continuous/process improvement methodolog- y

Summary Pay Range: $83,300 - $98,000
