Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department to achieve our organization's mission and goals
- Provide guidance and support to nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments, including administration, therapy, and social services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure the effective management of department resources
- Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to promote professional development and job satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in nursing care
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (n/a)
- Minimum 1 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role
- Current Illinois RN license
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
