Duties
- Engage with customers in retail stores or on the road to identify their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Conduct pricing negotiations and upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, attentive service, and follow-up
- Manage automobile transportation logistics for product delivery, ensuring timely and safe route driving in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Perform heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when handling merchandise or equipment
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customer attention and promote products effectively
- Utilize organizational skills to manage sales records, route schedules, and client information efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail store sales, customer service, or related roles emphasizing client communication skills
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and basic math for transactions and calculations
- Valid commercial truck driving license or experience in commercial driving preferred
- Familiarity with automobile transportation procedures and route driving experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
- Strong organizational skills for managing routes, schedules, and merchandising setups
- Experience in merchandising, client relationship building, or sales roles is highly desirable
