St. James Gate is hiring a friendly and fast-paced Part-Time Server to handle our busy weekend shifts. We pride ourselves on great food, excellent drinks, and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere. We need someone who can hit the ground running and deliver awesome service to our guests.
What You’ll Do:
Greet guests warmly, introduce menu items, and make thoughtful food and drink recommendations.
Take accurate orders and enter them efficiently into our POS system.
Deliver hot food and cold drinks to tables promptly, checking back to ensure an excellent dining experience.
Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar staff to keep service running smoothly.
Handle table clean-up, reset stations, and process guest payments accurately.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior experience serving in a busy restaurant or bar environment.
A positive, high-energy attitude with a natural knack for hospitality.
Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure during peak weekend rushes.
Availability: This position is strictly for weekends. Candidates must have weekend availability and be able to work Sundays.
Current Food Handler certification is preferred.
Pay: From $18.95 per hour
