Position: Optical Sales Associate / Optician & Optometry Assistant
(No experience required. We will train the right person!)
✔ Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
- Assisting customers with frame selection and lens options
- Checking in patients and answering phone calls
- Contact lens and glasses order processing
- Maintaining store cleanliness and organization
- Supporting the optometrist and optical team
- Learning basic optical skills (PD, lens terminology, insurance basics)
✔ Requirements:
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills (English or Spanish or korean)
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Reliable, responsible, and on time
- Willing to learn optical skills
- Work authorization in the U.S.
✔ Preferred:
- Experience in optical sales, optometry office, or retail
- Knowledge of VSP, EyeMed, Spectera or Versant vision insurance
✔ Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time or Part-time available (Working Saturdays is mandatory)
- Store hours: 9:30am – 6:30pm
- Pay: $18.42–$23/hr depending on experience + bonuses
