We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Family Medicine/Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join our team in busy practice in Staten Island. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with various pain disorders, including Sciatica, Cervical pain, Spine and Join Disorders, and other pain conditions This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
We are looking for 3-4 days of availability that can be potentially become full time working along side medical director. Must have experience in Pain Management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions
- Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize patient care delivery
- Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
