Marketing & Social Media Manager
Responsibilities
- Create and execute social media, advertising, and consumer marketing campaigns to a targeted audience. Learn the voice of our companies and utilize humor, fun, and excitement to deliver our message - we're not a stiff corporation, but we are a fun sports training facility.
- Create exciting, unique and compelling content upholding the fun voice of our companies
- Support the design, implementation, and management of marketing strategy, valuation, and measurement initiatives across four gym locations – two east coast and two west coast; New York City, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Ventura
- Utilize third-party and internal research tools to aggregate and analyze marketing data and develop strategies based on insights
- Interact directly with owner to manage expectations and meet deadlines
- Interpret category and consumer trends to inform sponsorship marketing, partnership, campaign and communication strategies
- Develop and maintain community and marketing partnerships in all 4 cities
- Act as a bridge between internal teams and owner, team player mentality required
- Proactively pitch innovative ideas, new partners, new channels, and test and learn strategies
- Cultivate relationships to find and promote new opportunities
Qualifications
- Experience in relevant creative, design, marketing with qualitative and quantitative discipline - relaxed, comfortable, and non-corporate environment
- Expertise in interpreting consumer research and data (quantitative & qualitative) and applying to solutions-based client strategies (creative marketing)
- Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively and persuasively, including ability to present
- Natural curiosity and a demonstrated ability to turn observed data into a story about what behavior is driving it
- Understanding of marketing, brand, and social metrics
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while being extremely detail-oriented
- Knowledge, passion and curiosity on all things culture, sports and entertainment
- Team player and ability to collaborate
Skills
- Expertise in social media, marketing, content creation, humor, and creativity
- Google Ads, SEO expertise with Webflow experience a plus. Constant Contact, Photoshop, Canva, CapCut skills needed.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and calendar’ing skills
- Experience developing Sports, Entertainment related sponsorship strategies
- Experience valuing partnership opportunities and assets
Location
This role is hybrid, located in our New York and/or Los Angeles office.
