Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records
- Oversee budgeting processes and assist with financial report writing to support organizational planning and decision-making
- Conduct detailed account analysis and account reconciliation to ensure the integrity of financial data
- Handle governmental accounting requirements and tax-related tasks with precision and timeliness
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and support audits as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably within nonprofit or corporate settings
- Strong proficiency with accounting software QuickBooks,
- Solid understanding of accounting principles including GAAP, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger management
- Experience with bank reconciliation, account analysis, budget preparation, and financial report writing
- Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax procedures is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail along with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently and accurately for data entry tasks
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and prepare clear financial documentation
