Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other items with precision and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist customers with their orders, offering product recommendations and upselling items to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems and cash handling
- Manage food inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure freshness and availability
- Uphold food safety protocols including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and temperature controls
- Support team members with wiping tables and maintaining a clean work environment during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Culinary experience or background in the food industry will help you excel in this role
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with guests positively and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate measurement of ingredients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety practices, and proper kitchen procedures is essential
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
