Position Summary
Whiteout Winter Services is seeking experienced Equipment Operators for snow and ice control operations. Operators play a critical role in ensuring properties are cleared efficiently, safely, and to Whiteout’s high-quality standards during winter weather events.This is a seasonal, on-call position that runs from approximately November through April, with work occurring during snow and ice events — including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate loaders, skid steers, salt trucks or similar heavy equipment for snow plowing and stacking operations.
- Work efficiently to meet site deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for assignments, material needs, and site completion.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensure all work meets Whiteout’s service standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance of both equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
- Prior experience In Snow operations, salting / operating loaders, skid steers, or similar heavy equipment required (snow experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of snow operations, plow systems, and site safety protocols.
- Ability to work long or overnight shifts during winter weather events. 12plus hours shifts on occasion
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to professionalism.
