The Event Chef plays a key role in executing LUX’s culinary excellence on-site at events. This position focuses on event-based cooking, presentation, and leadership, rather than day-to-day kitchen prep. The Event Chef oversees food service during events, ensuring seamless execution, maintaining LUX’s high standards, and creating a polished guest experience.

Lead on-site culinary operations, ensuring all food is prepared, presented, and served according to LUX’s quality and aesthetic standards.

Direct and mentor on-site culinary teams, delegating tasks effectively while fostering a collaborative, positive work environment.

Adapt to last-minute changes or challenges during events, maintaining composure and ensuring seamless service.

Enforce health department standards and best practices for food handling, sanitation, and safety.

Collaborate with FOH managers and event leads to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.

Work closely with the culinary and logistics teams to ensure all necessary equipment, supplies, and menu items are prepared and packed for each event.

Execute menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to event-specific requirements and dietary accommodations.

Ensure all dishes meet LUX’s visual and taste standards before they are served to guests.

Oversee proper breakdown, storage, and transportation of culinary equipment and leftover products after events.

Proven experience as a Chef in high-end catering, banquet, or event environments.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate on-site teams.
