We are a small community Baptist Church looking for a part time pastor to help us grow. Position will have the option to become full time as the church grows. The Pastor’s financial compensation package includes: A monthly salary of $3,500 per month.
We would ask that the pastor
· Commit as a pastor within the body of Christ to join New Beginnings Fellowship and to fulfill the expectations of church membership.
· Seek God’s will and demonstrate Christian character under the leadership of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of his life and ministry.
· Preach the whole counsel of the Word of God believing that it is infallible, inerrant, authoritative, and sufficient and to proclaim the Gospel with the goal of reaching persons for Christ and fostering spiritual growth.
· Lead the congregation, by example, to be involved in evangelism, prayer, worship, ministry, fellowship, and discipleship.
· Exercise Biblical leadership and authority over the congregation in accordance with the New Testament charge to be an overseer in the body of Christ.
· Demonstrate Christian character in the home, church, and community.
· Consider all members with respect and speak the truth in love.
· Love and care for all individuals and families within the fellowship of New Beginnings Fellowship with Christlike compassion and without partiality—offering grace, truth, and support in accordance with God’s Word.
· Visit the sick, the elderly, and the bereaved, and maintain contact with the membership.
· Be an encourager to people, programs, and ministries of the church family.
· Provide confidential pastoral advisement and spiritual guidance to members and non-member church attendees applying the truth of God's Word with wisdom, grace, and compassion.
· Serve as administrator of church programs.
· Give primary oversite and direct the church office, supervising paid church staff.
